Artist Bio:
Rick Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson, was an American singer, musician, and actor. He achieved fame as a teenage idol during the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits like "Poor Little Fool" and "Travelin' Man." Nelson was also a pioneer in the early development of rock music, blending country music with rockabilly to create his signature sound. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.


In addition to his music career, Nelson also had success as an actor, starring in the popular television series "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet" alongside his family. He continued to act in various TV shows and films throughout his career. Tragically, Rick Nelson died in a plane crash on December 31, 1985, while en route to a concert in Dallas, Texas. Despite his untimely death, his legacy as a talented musician and actor continues to be remembered and celebrated.
