Artist Bio:
Rick Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson on May 8, 1940, was an American singer, musician, and actor. He rose to fame as a teen idol in the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits like "Poor Little Fool" and "Travelin' Man." Nelson was also known for his role as the eldest son, "Ricky," on the popular television show "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," which aired from 1952 to 1966. He was one of the first teen idols to successfully transition to a career as a mature musician.


Throughout his career, Rick Nelson released numerous albums and singles, exploring different genres such as rock and roll, country, and pop. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Tragically, Nelson died in a plane crash on December 31, 1985, at the age of 45. Despite his untimely death, Rick Nelson's music continues to be celebrated and remembered by fans around the world.
