Artist Bio:
Ricky Nelson, born Eric Hilliard Nelson on May 8, 1940, was an American singer, musician, and actor. He gained fame as a rock and roll star during the late 1950s and early 1960s with hits like "Hello Mary Lou" and "Travelin' Man." Nelson was also known for his role as a teenager in the popular television show "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," where he starred alongside his real-life family members.


Throughout his career, Ricky Nelson released over 30 albums and had more than 50 songs reach the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987. Sadly, Nelson passed away in a plane crash on December 31, 1985, at the age of 45. Despite his premature death, Ricky Nelson's contributions to music and entertainment continue to be celebrated by fans around the world.
