Ringo Starr, born Richard Starkey on July 7, 1940, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known as the drummer for the iconic rock band The Beatles. Starr joined The Beatles in 1962, replacing their previous drummer Pete Best, and went on to contribute his unique drumming style to some of the band's most famous songs. He was known for his reliable and steady drumming, as well as his distinctive vocal contributions to the group.


After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, Ringo Starr launched a successful solo career, releasing a number of albums and hit singles. He also formed his own band, Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band, which has featured various well-known musicians over the years. In addition to his music career, Starr has also acted in several films and television shows, showcasing his talents beyond just music. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Beatles in 1988.
