Ringo Starr, born Richard Starkey on July 7, 1940, in Liverpool, England, is a renowned English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor. He is best known as the drummer for the iconic rock band The Beatles. Starr joined The Beatles in 1962, replacing the band's original drummer, Pete Best. He played with the band throughout their entire career, contributing his unique drumming style to many of their hit songs.


After The Beatles disbanded in 1970, Ringo Starr embarked on a successful solo career, releasing numerous albums and singles.
