He is best known as the lead vocalist of the band Matchbox Twenty, which gained popularity in the 1990s with hits such as "Push," "3AM," and "Unwell." Thomas has also enjoyed a successful solo career, with his debut album "Something to Be" released in 2005 reaching number one on the Billboard 200 chart. He has since released several solo albums, including "Cradlesong" and "The Great Unknown."
