He is best known for his hit singles in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including "C'est La Vie" and "Wot's It to Ya." "C'est La Vie" reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1986 and became a worldwide hit. Nevil's music is characterized by its catchy pop melodies and upbeat, danceable rhythms.
