He is the son of rockabilly pioneer Johnny Burnette and nephew of rockabilly musician Dorsey Burnette. In 1980, Rocky Burnette achieved commercial success with his hit single "Tired Of Toein' The Line," which propelled him into the music spotlight. Despite not achieving the same level of success with subsequent releases, Burnette continued to perform and release music throughout the 1980s and beyond, maintaining a dedicated fan base.
