Rod Stewart is a British rock singer and songwriter born on January 10, 1945, in London, England. He rose to fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his distinctive raspy voice and flamboyant stage presence. Stewart is known for hits like "Maggie May," "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?," and "Forever Young." He has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.


In addition to his successful solo career, Stewart was also a member of the bands The Jeff Beck Group and Faces. He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, once as a solo artist and once as a member of Faces. Stewart continues to tour and record music, with his most recent album, "Blood Red Roses," released in 2018. He is also known for his signature spiky hairstyle and his love of soccer, having been a supporter of the Scottish national team.
