Rodney Dangerfield was an American stand-up comedian and actor, born on November 22, 1921, in Deer Park, New York. He is best known for his self-deprecating humor and catchphrase "I don't get no respect!" Dangerfield began his career in comedy clubs in the 1960s and rose to fame in the 1980s with his appearances on "The Tonight Show" and in films such as "Caddyshack" and "Back to School."


Throughout his career, Dangerfield won a Grammy Award for his comedy album "No Respect" and starred in numerous successful comedy specials on television. He also founded his own comedy club, Dangerfield's, in New York City, where he helped launch the careers of many aspiring comedians. Rodney Dangerfield passed away on October 5, 2004, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and a lasting impact on the world of comedy.
