Roger Hodgson is a British musician and singer-songwriter, best known as the co-founder and former member of the progressive rock band Supertramp. He was born on March 21, 1950, in Portsmouth, England. Hodgson was the primary composer and lead vocalist for many of Supertramp's biggest hits, including "Give a Little Bit," "The Logical Song," and "Breakfast in America."
After leaving Supertramp in 1983 to focus on his solo career, Hodgson continued to release music as a solo artist, including his successful debut album "In the Eye of the Storm." He is known for his distinctive voice, multi-instrumental skills, and introspective lyrics. Hodgson has maintained a loyal fan base and continues to tour internationally, performing both his solo work and Supertramp classics.
