Miller is best known for his hit songs such as "King of the Road," "Dang Me," and "Do-Wacka-Do." His music often featured clever wordplay and humorous lyrics, earning him a reputation as a witty and talented songwriter.
In addition to his successful music career, Miller also found success as a Broadway composer, winning a Tony Award for Best Original Score in 1985 for the musical "Big River," based on Mark Twain's "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."
