Artist Bio:
Roman Holliday was a British pop and new wave band that was formed in 1980. The band's most well-known lineup consisted of lead vocalist Steve Lambert, guitarist Brian Bonhomme, bassist Simon Cohen, drummer Jon Durno, and brass players John Eacott and Rob Lambert. They were known for their energetic live performances and catchy, upbeat songs that blended elements of pop, ska, and new wave music.


Roman Holliday's biggest hit was "Don't Try to Stop It," which reached the Top 20 on the UK Singles Chart in 1983. The band released two albums, "Cookin' on the Roof" in 1983 and "Stand by" in 1985, before disbanding in the late 1980s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Roman Holliday left a lasting impact on the British pop music scene of the 1980s with their infectious sound and memorable songs.
