He began his career as a singer in the 1950s and achieved success in the UK music scene with hits such as "Roses Are Red" and "Say Wonderful Things." He represented the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest twice, in 1962 and 1963, with the songs "Ring-A-Ding Girl" and "Say Wonderful Things" respectively.


In addition to his music career, Ronnie Carroll also dabbled in acting, appearing in films such as "Kill Me Tomorrow" and "Dateline Diamonds" in the 1960s. He was known for his smooth voice, charming stage presence, and ability to connect with audiences, making him a popular performer during his heyday. Ronnie Carroll passed away on April 13, 2015, at the age of 80.
