The group consisted of members John "Bucky" Wilkin, Paul Jensen, Lee Kraft, Thomas Ramey, and Billy Lockridge. They are best known for their hit single "G.T.O." which was released in 1964 and peaked at number 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The band's music was characterized by their surf rock sound, catchy melodies, and lyrics often centered around cars and teenage lifestyle. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, Ronny And The Daytonas left a lasting impact on the surf rock genre.
