Artist Bio:
Rose Royce is an American R&B and funk band formed in Los Angeles, California in the 1970s. The group is best known for their hit songs such as "Car Wash," which was the theme song for the 1976 film of the same name, and "Wishing on a Star." The band was originally known as Total Concept Unlimited before changing their name to Rose Royce in honor of the luxury car brand Rolls-Royce.

Rose Royce achieved commercial success in the 1970s and 1980s with their soulful and funky sound. The band's lineup has changed over the years, but they have continued to perform and release music, maintaining a dedicated fan base. Rose Royce's music has been featured in numerous films and TV shows, and their songs remain popular on oldies radio stations and in dance clubs.
