Roxy Music is a British rock band formed in 1970 by singer Bryan Ferry. The band was known for its unique blend of art rock, glam rock, and pop music, and was influential in the development of the new wave and post-punk genres. Roxy Music released their self-titled debut album in 1972, which was followed by a string of successful albums including "For Your Pleasure" (1973), "Stranded" (1973), and "Siren" (1975).
The band's lineup went through several changes over the years, with members including Bryan Ferry, Brian Eno, Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay, and Paul Thompson. Roxy Music achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success, with hits like "Love is the Drug," "More Than This," and "Avalon." The band disbanded in 1983 but reunited for a few tours in the 2000s. Roxy Music was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
