Roxy Music was a British rock band formed in 1970 by Bryan Ferry (vocals, keyboards) and Graham Simpson (bass). The band's lineup changed frequently over the years, with members including Brian Eno (keyboards, synthesizers), Phil Manzanera (guitar), Andy Mackay (saxophone, oboe), and Paul Thompson (drums). Roxy Music was known for their eclectic and innovative sound, blending elements of glam rock, art rock, and pop music.
The band released several successful albums in the 1970s, including "Roxy Music" (1972), "For Your Pleasure" (1973), and "Siren" (1975). Their music was characterized by Ferry's distinctive vocals, Eno's experimental production techniques, and the band's stylish image. Roxy Music had a significant influence on the development of new wave and alternative rock music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
