Artist Bio:
Roy Clark was an American singer and musician known for his versatility as a performer. Born in 1933 in Meherrin, Virginia, he began playing guitar at an early age and went on to become an accomplished banjo player, fiddler, and mandolinist. Clark gained national fame as the host of the television show "Hee Haw," which ran from 1969 to 1997 and showcased his musical talents as well as his comedic timing.


In addition to his television work, Roy Clark released a number of successful albums and singles, including the hits "Yesterday, When I Was Young" and "Thank God and Greyhound." He was a member of the Grand Ole Opry and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2009. Roy Clark's legacy as a musician and entertainer continues to be celebrated by fans of country music and television.
