Roy Drusky was an American country music singer and songwriter, born on June 22, 1930, in Atlanta, Georgia. He began his music career in the 1950s and achieved success in the 1960s and 1970s. Drusky released several hit singles during his career, including "Yes, Mr. Peters" and "Three Hearts in a Tangle," which both reached the top ten on the country music charts.
Drusky was known for his smooth baritone voice and his ability to convey emotion in his songs. He was also a prolific songwriter, penning hits for other artists such as Faron Young and Jim Reeves. Drusky was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1960 and continued to perform and record music until his passing on September 23, 2004, in Nashville, Tennessee.
