Artist Bio:
Roy Head And The Traits were an American rock band formed in the early 1960s, best known for their hit song "Treat Her Right." The band consisted of lead singer Roy Head, along with his bandmates The Traits. Roy Head, born in 1941 in Three Rivers, Texas, was the frontman and driving force behind the group. The Traits consisted of various musicians who played instruments such as guitar, bass, drums, and saxophone.

"Treat Her Right" was released in 1965 and became a major hit, reaching number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 1 on the Billboard R&B chart. The song's catchy rhythm and powerful vocals by Roy Head helped solidify its place as a classic rock and roll track. Despite their success with "Treat Her Right," Roy Head And The Traits did not achieve the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases, and the band eventually disbanded. Roy Head continued to perform and record music as a solo artist after the breakup of the band.
