Rubber Rodeo was an American new wave band formed in the early 1980s. The band was known for their unique blend of rock, country, and pop music, as well as their quirky and theatrical live performances. Rubber Rodeo gained some recognition in the underground music scene and released their debut album, "Scenic Views," in 1984 on Mercury Records.
The band's lineup included lead vocalist and guitarist Mark Dannells, keyboardist and vocalist Charlene Roth, drummer David Kahne, bassist and vocalist Eric Ambel, and guitarist and vocalist Keith Christopher. Rubber Rodeo disbanded in the late 1980s after releasing a few albums and singles. Despite their relatively short-lived career, Rubber Rodeo left a lasting impact on the new wave music scene with their eclectic sound and energetic performances.
