Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
Ruby and The Romantics were an American R&B group formed in Akron, Ohio, in 1961. The group's members were Ruby Nash, Leroy Fann, Ed Roberts, George Lee, and Ronald Mosley. They are best known for their hit song "Our Day Will Come," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1963. The song also earned the group a gold record. Their unique blend of doo-wop, gospel, and R&B elements set them apart from other groups of the time.

Despite the success of "Our Day Will Come," Ruby and The Romantics struggled to replicate the same level of success with subsequent releases. They continued to record and perform throughout the 1960s and 1970s, but never reached the same heights as their debut hit. The group disbanded in the late 1970s, but their music continues to be celebrated for its soulful sound and nostalgic charm.
