Artist Bio:
Ruby and the Romantics were an American R&B group formed in Akron, Ohio in 1961. The group consisted of lead singer Ruby Nash, Leroy Fann on second tenor, George Lee on first tenor, and Ed Roberts on baritone. Their biggest hit came in 1963 with the song "Our Day Will Come," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also earned them a gold record.

Following the success of "Our Day Will Come," Ruby and the Romantics had a few more hits such as "My Summer Love" and "Hey There Lonely Boy," but none matched the success of their breakthrough hit. The group continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and early 1970s before disbanding in the mid-1970s. Despite their relatively short time in the spotlight, Ruby and the Romantics left a lasting impact on the R&B music scene with their smooth harmonies and romantic ballads.
