Artist Bio:
Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968, consisting of members Geddy Lee (bass, keyboards, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitars), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion). They were known for their complex compositions, virtuosic musicianship, and philosophical lyrics. Rush released 19 studio albums, with their most popular ones including "2112" (1976), "Moving Pictures" (1981), and "Permanent Waves" (1980). They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.

Neil Peart, the band's primary lyricist, was widely regarded as one of the greatest drummers in rock history. Rush's music often featured elements of progressive rock, hard rock, and heavy metal, and they were known for their dynamic live performances. The band enjoyed a dedicated fan base and sold over 40 million records worldwide. Rush officially disbanded in 2018 following Peart's passing.
