Artist Bio:
Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968, consisting of members Geddy Lee (bass, vocals, keyboards), Alex Lifeson (guitar), and Neil Peart (drums, percussion, lyrics). The band is known for their complex musical compositions, philosophical lyrics, and eclectic range of influences, blending elements of hard rock, progressive rock, and heavy metal. Rush gained a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim for their musicianship and innovation in the rock genre.

Over their career, Rush released 19 studio albums, with notable hits including "Tom Sawyer," "The Spirit of Radio," and "Limelight." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013 and have sold over 40 million records worldwide. Rush announced their retirement from touring in 2015, following their R40 Live Tour, and tragically, Neil Peart passed away in 2020. Despite their retirement, Rush's music continues to inspire and influence rock musicians and fans worldwide.
