Artist Bio:
Rush was a Canadian rock band formed in 1968 in Toronto. The band consisted of guitarist Alex Lifeson, bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee, and drummer Neil Peart. Known for their complex compositions and eclectic musical style that blended elements of hard rock, progressive rock, and heavy metal, Rush became one of the most successful and influential rock bands in the world. They released 19 studio albums, with their most popular ones including "2112" (1976), "Moving Pictures" (1981), and "Permanent Waves" (1980).


Rush was also known for their virtuosic musicianship, with each member being considered among the best at their respective instruments. The band received numerous awards and accolades throughout their career, including induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Rush officially disbanded in 2018 after Peart's passing, marking the end of their legendary career that spanned over four decades.
