Artist Bio:
Sad Café was a British rock band formed in Manchester in 1976. The band's original lineup consisted of members Paul Young (vocals), Ashley Mulford (guitar), Ian Wilson (keyboards), John Stimpson (bass), Vic Emerson (keyboards), and Dave Irving (drums). They gained popularity in the late 1970s and early 1980s with their melodic rock sound, often compared to bands like 10cc and Supertramp.

Sad Café released several albums throughout their career, including "Sad Café" (1977), "Misplaced Ideals" (1978), and "Facades" (1979). Their most successful single was "Every Day Hurts" which reached the top 40 in the UK charts in 1979. The band continued to release music and tour into the 1980s, with varying degrees of success. Despite the changes in lineup and music trends, Sad Café remains a notable band in the history of British rock music.
