Artist Bio:
Sagittarius is an American psychedelic pop band formed in 1967. The group was the brainchild of musician and producer Gary Usher, who enlisted a rotating cast of studio musicians to bring his musical vision to life. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1968, is considered a cult classic of the psychedelic genre. The album features a mix of dreamy, orchestral pop songs with whimsical lyrics and lush arrangements.
Sagittarius is best known for their song "My World Fell Down," which was a minor hit in the United States and the United Kingdom. Despite their limited commercial success, Sagittarius is highly regarded among fans of 1960s psychedelic music for their innovative sound and Usher's production techniques. The band only released one more album, "The Blue Marble," before disbanding in 1969.
