Saliva is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee. The band's original lineup consisted of Josey Scott (vocals), Wayne Swinny (guitar), Chris D'Abaldo (guitar), Dave Novotny (bass), and Paul Crosby (drums). They are known for their energetic live performances and a sound that combines elements of hard rock, nu-metal, and alternative rock.
Saliva gained mainstream success in the early 2000s with hits like "Click Click Boom," "Always," and "Ladies and Gentlemen." They have released over ten studio albums, with their most successful being "Every Six Seconds" in 2001. The band has gone through several lineup changes over the years, with Scott departing in 2011 and being replaced by Bobby Amaru. Saliva continues to tour and release new music, maintaining a loyal fan base in the rock music scene.
