Artist Bio:
Sally Field is an American actress who has had a successful career in both film and television. She was born on November 6, 1946, in Pasadena, California. Field began her acting career in the 1960s, starring in the television series "Gidget" and "The Flying Nun." She gained widespread recognition for her role as Sister Bertrille in "The Flying Nun."


Field went on to have a successful film career, winning two Academy Awards for Best Actress for her performances in "Norma Rae" (1979) and "Places in the Heart" (1984). She is also well-known for her roles in films such as "Smokey and the Bandit," "Steel Magnolias," and "Forrest Gump." Field has received numerous accolades for her work, including three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award.
