Sam & Dave were one of the most successful soul acts of the 1960s, winning a Grammy Award for their hit "Soul Man" in 1967. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Despite their success, the duo faced personal and professional challenges, leading to their eventual breakup in 1981.
