They are best known for their hit songs "Wooly Bully" and "Lil' Red Riding Hood." The band's unique sound and energetic performances helped them become popular in the mid-1960s. Sam The Sham and the Pharaohs were inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame in 1999.
