Sandie Shaw, born Sandra Goodrich on February 26, 1947, is a British singer from Dagenham, Essex. She rose to fame in the 1960s with a string of hit singles, including "Always Something There to Remind Me" and "(There's) Always Something There to Remind Me." Shaw became known for her distinctive voice and unique fashion sense, often performing barefoot on stage. She won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1967 with the song "Puppet on a String," which became a major hit in the UK and internationally.
