Vaughan's discography includes numerous hit songs and albums, such as "Misty" and "Sarah Vaughan Sings George Gershwin."


Throughout her career, Vaughan received multiple Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 1989. She was also inducted into the Jazz Hall of Fame in 1985 and the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1992. Vaughan's influence on the jazz genre and her legacy as one of the greatest female vocalists in music history continue to be celebrated by fans and musicians worldwide. Sarah Vaughan passed away on April 3, 1990, in Hidden Hills, California, leaving behind a lasting impact on the world of jazz music.
