Artist Bio:
Saraya is an American rock band that was formed in 1987 by singer Sandi Saraya and guitarist Tony "Bruno" Rey. The band released their self-titled debut album, "Saraya," in 1989 under Polydor Records. The album included the hit single "Love Has Taken Its Toll," which received significant airplay on rock radio stations. Saraya's music is characterized by its powerful vocals and hard rock sound, drawing comparisons to bands like Heart and Pat Benatar.

Despite their initial success, Saraya disbanded in the early 1990s after releasing their second album, "When the Blackbird Sings," in 1991. Sandi Saraya continued to pursue a career in music as a solo artist and songwriter. The band briefly reunited in the early 2000s for a few live performances. Saraya's music continues to be remembered and celebrated by fans of 1980s rock music.
