Scandal is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1981. The band's most well-known lineup consisted of Patty Smyth as the lead vocalist, Zack Smith on guitar, Keith Mack on bass, Benjy King on keyboards, and Frank Funaro on drums. Scandal achieved commercial success with their debut self-titled album in 1982, which featured hits like "Goodbye to You" and "Love's Got A Line on You."
In 1984, Patty Smyth left the band to pursue a solo career, but in 2004, Scandal reunited with Smyth as the lead vocalist. The band continues to perform and tour, with Patty Smyth as the frontwoman. Scandal Featuring Patty Smyth released their latest studio album, "Warrior," in 2019, marking their first album of new material in over three decades.
