Scandal is an American rock band formed in New York City in 1981. The band's most well-known lineup consisted of Patty Smyth as the lead vocalist, Zack Smith on guitar, Keith Mack on bass, Benjy King on keyboards, and Thommy Price on drums. Scandal's self-titled debut album was released in 1982, featuring the hit single "Goodbye to You." The band gained further success with their 1984 album, "Warrior," which included the popular singles "The Warrior" and "Beat of a Heart."
Patty Smyth, the lead vocalist of Scandal, embarked on a solo career after the band's breakup in the mid-1980s. In 1984, she collaborated with R&B singer Eddie Van Halen on the song "Can't Get This Stuff No More." In 2004, Scandal reformed with a new lineup, and in 2017, the band released a new single titled "It's All Good," featuring Patty Smyth. Scandal Featuring Patty Smyth continues to perform live and release new music, delighting fans with their classic rock sound.
