Artist Bio:
Sea Level was an American rock band formed in 1976 by keyboardist Chuck Leavell, guitarist Jimmy Nalls, bassist Lamar Williams, and drummer Jai Johanny Johanson. The band was known for blending elements of jazz, rock, and blues into their music, creating a unique sound that set them apart from their contemporaries. Sea Level released a total of six studio albums between 1977 and 1980, with their self-titled debut album being the most successful, reaching No. 50 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Despite their critical acclaim and talented lineup, Sea Level never achieved mainstream commercial success. The band disbanded in 1981, with members going on to pursue other musical projects. Chuck Leavell, the band's founder, became a highly sought-after session musician and has also been a longtime touring member of The Rolling Stones. Sea Level's music continues to be appreciated by fans of jazz-rock fusion and remains a notable part of the 1970s music scene.
