Seals & Crofts was an American soft rock duo formed in 1969 by Jim Seals and Dash Crofts. They gained popularity in the 1970s with their smooth harmonies and folk-influenced sound. Their music often featured acoustic guitars and intricate vocal arrangements, with lyrics that touched on themes of love, spirituality, and social issues.


Some of their most well-known hits include "Summer Breeze," "Diamond Girl," and "Get Closer." They were known for their tight musicianship and engaging live performances. Seals & Crofts released a total of eight studio albums before disbanding in 1980. Despite their breakup, their music continues to be enjoyed by fans around the world, and they remain an iconic duo in the soft rock genre.
