Seals & Crofts were an American soft rock duo formed in 1969. The duo consisted of Jim Seals (born James Seals) and Dash Crofts (born Darrell Crofts). They are best known for their hit songs "Summer Breeze" and "Diamond Girl," which both reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Seals & Crofts were known for their smooth harmonies and folk-influenced sound, which incorporated elements of pop and rock music.


Throughout the 1970s, Seals & Crofts released a series of successful albums and singles, earning them a dedicated fan base. They were also known for their association with the Bahá'í Faith, which influenced their lyrics and overall spiritual message in their music.
