Shades is a collaborative project between electronic music producers EPROM and Alix Perez. EPROM, whose real name is Alexander Dennis, is known for his experimental and innovative approach to bass music, while Alix Perez, born Alix Depauw, is a drum and bass and dubstep producer from Belgium. The duo came together in 2015 to create Shades, focusing on pushing the boundaries of bass music and exploring new sonic territories.
Shades has released music on labels such as Deadbeats, 1985 Music, and Saturate Records, gaining recognition for their dark and heavy sound that blends elements of dubstep, hip-hop, and drum and bass. The duo has performed at various music festivals and events around the world, showcasing their unique and dynamic style to audiences in the electronic music scene.
