Shania Twain is a Canadian singer and songwriter who achieved massive success in the country and pop music genres. She was born Eilleen Regina Edwards on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Twain's breakthrough came with her second studio album, "The Woman in Me," released in 1995, which went on to sell 20 million copies worldwide. Her follow-up album, "Come On Over," released in 1997, is her best-selling album to date, with over 40 million copies sold globally, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
