Artist Bio:
Shep And The Limelites were an American doo-wop group formed in Queens, New York in 1961. The group's members included James "Shep" Sheppard, Clarence Bassett, and Charles Baskerville. Sheppard was previously a member of the Heartbeats before forming Shep And The Limelites.

The group is best known for their hit song "Daddy's Home," which reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1961. The song has since become a doo-wop classic and has been covered by various artists over the years. Shep And The Limelites continued to release music throughout the 1960s, but they never reached the same level of commercial success as they did with "Daddy's Home." Despite their relatively short-lived success, the group remains a notable and influential act in the doo-wop genre.
