Shirley and Company was a disco group formed in the 1970s, best known for their hit single "Shame, Shame, Shame." The group was fronted by lead singer Shirley Goodman, who had previously been part of the duo Shirley and Lee. "Shame, Shame, Shame" was released in 1974 and became a major success, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and selling over a million copies.

Despite the success of "Shame, Shame, Shame," Shirley and Company did not produce any other major hits. The group disbanded in the late 1970s, and Shirley Goodman pursued a solo career before passing away in 2005. "Shame, Shame, Shame" remains a popular disco anthem and has been featured in various movies, TV shows, and commercials over the years.
