Silvetti gained international recognition for his instrumental disco hit "Lluvia De Primavera" (Spring Rain), which reached the top of the charts in 1977. He also produced and arranged music for various artists, including Juan Gabriel and Plácido Domingo. Silvetti's music often combined elements of classical, disco, and Latin rhythms, creating a unique and captivating sound that resonated with audiences around the world.
