Artist Bio:
Simon & Garfunkel were an American folk rock duo consisting of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel. They formed in 1957 and rose to fame in the 1960s with their harmonious vocal blend and introspective lyrics. Their music often reflected the social and political climate of the time, with songs like "The Sound of Silence" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" becoming iconic anthems of the era.

The duo released a string of successful albums throughout the 1960s before disbanding in 1970 to pursue solo careers. Despite their relatively short time together, Simon & Garfunkel left a lasting impact on the music industry and are considered one of the most influential and beloved musical acts of the 20th century. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
