Siw Malmkvist is a Swedish pop singer who was born on December 31, 1936. She began her music career in the late 1950s and gained popularity in the 1960s with hits like "Tunna skivor" and "Liebeskummer lohnt sich nicht". Malmkvist represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960, 1961, and 1962. In addition to her solo career, she collaborated with Italian singer Umberto Marcato on several songs. Umberto Marcato was an Italian singer and songwriter born on December 26, 1933. He gained fame in the 1960s with hits like "Some Tears Fall Dry" and "Diana". Marcato collaborated with Siw Malmkvist on the duet "Ciao Ciao Bambina" in 1962, which became a chart-topping success in Germany. The duo continued to work together on several more songs throughout the 1960s.
