Artist Bio:
Sixpence None the Richer is an American alternative rock band formed in New Braunfels, Texas in 1992. The band's name is inspired by a passage from the book Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis. The band's lineup has included Leigh Nash (vocals), Matt Slocum (guitar), Justin Cary (bass), Sean Kelly (guitar), and Dale Baker (drums).

Sixpence None the Richer is best known for their hit songs "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes." "Kiss Me" reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1999 and was featured on the soundtrack for the film "She's All That." The band has released several albums since their formation, including their self-titled album in 1997, which included the hit song "Kiss Me." Sixpence None the Richer's music is characterized by Nash's ethereal vocals and the band's jangly, melodic sound.
