Artist Bio:
Sixpence None The Richer is an American alternative rock band formed in New Braunfels, Texas in 1992. The band's name is inspired by a passage from the book "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis. The group's original lineup consisted of Leigh Nash (vocals) and Matt Slocum (guitar). They gained mainstream success with their hit single "Kiss Me" in 1999, which reached the top of the charts in several countries. Sixpence None The Richer is known for their dreamy, melodic sound and thoughtful lyrics, often exploring themes of love, faith, and relationships.

In addition to "Kiss Me," the band is also known for songs like "There She Goes" and a cover of "Don't Dream It's Over." Sixpence None The Richer has released several albums over the years, including their self-titled album in 1997 and "Divine Discontent" in 2002. The band went on hiatus in 2004 but reunited in 2008 and continues to perform and release music to this day.
